What is Failure to Yield Right of Way?
There are multiple traffic laws for yielding right of way. For instance, at stop signs, uncontrolled intersections, turning, etc. When attempting to turn left, the driver must yield the right of way to any oncoming traffic to avoid a car crash. Failing to yield the right of way is a common cause of car accidents and can lead to significant injuries and damages. See all of Washington’s Rules of the Road on our website including all rules for yielding right of way.
